If Gaga stops doing the extra stuff/"weird stuff" she'll just be another drop in the bucket of canary babes. I love that she has the discretion to know when it's appropriate to go balls-to-the-wall (SXSW) and when you should play it straight (Oscars). I think during ARTPOP/late BTW, people were just weary of it. But all the pop gurls are normalling out so eventually the peasants will become thirsty for something extra spectacular again.
