Like for example, under your criteria, you'd ban infertile straight couples and women above a certain age from getting married too, after all, they can't reproduce right? This also assumes the primary aim of marriage is reproduction, which as been pointed out above would be false, as there are legal benefits that come with it too. A woman whose uterus has had to be removed maybe for medicals reasons, is still a woman, but doesn't really have the "organs" to conceive, would she be banned from getting married too? A man was put on this earth to reproduce with his wife and continue his line of dna & name. A man and a man cannot reproduce because a man doesn't have a womb or a uterus. even if it has to removed from a woman for medical reasons.. she was still put on this earth for a reason.. to have a child with a man & continue his name.
