blacklistedd 599 Posted May 24, 2014 Share Posted May 24, 2014 I think West Coast is one of the best songs shes officially released so far in her career so its a little surprising to me that so many find it underwhelming when I think Born To Die (her most beloved album) is probably the most underwhelming thing shes ever made even against a lot of her unreleased stuff. Born To Die is overall bland and one dimensional. Paradise was an improvement and it seems that Ultraviolence is going to continue that positive streak. It just seemed to have some form of negative connotation to it at first read. Upon reading it again it doesn't. But I mean for me to have that assumption at all is only natural, its so commonplace its more surprising when something doesn't have negative connotation.
