I can proudly say that I stan so hard for the song genuinely, not just by bandwagoning or the needs of being a Lana stan. It's still understated, thank God she's going straight nowhere the limelight of mainstream, still. I'm excited for UV. The artwork is not so literal like she would be killing someone on the cover or holding a knife lol I believe the name of the album has more to do with the sound of this album, more raw and organic. I'm excited for the album, but since I'm broke I'm gonna have to wait until I have the money to buy it. I'm sad about Starry Eyed and Angels Forever not getting the physical release they deserve... IAmTheX 0 Posted May 19, 2014 Share Posted May 19, 2014 Such a pity that's the cover tbh, I can see how she wanted to look more real on it cause it seems like we're having more of the Lizzy Grant we have on her leaked songs and less of Lana Del Rey, but definitely there are so much better ways to get a non artificial cover and look alternative without just ruining it. This is what you'll hear: it has that amazing vintage vibe that she lost with some of the songs on Born To Die and the production makes you feel nostalgic and it's something you really really should pay attention to as it's her best one ever; anyway, the style is kinda more soft-rock so if you're expecting another ultra catchy melody like Young And Beautiful's one, just change your expectatives. Well with song titles like Cruel World, Ultraviolence, ****ed My Way Up to the Top, Guns and Roses and Black Beauty many people would expect something more aggressive and not so tumblr sad hipster girl. This cover art doesn't make me want to buy the album. The promo picture was more Ultraviolence than the actual cover. The album cover doesn't look raw and organic either.
