Creyk 18,183 Posted April 26, 2014 Share Posted April 26, 2014 I saw Lana at Champions Square in New Orleans last night. The show was WONDERFUL! I had such a blast. She's so adorable in person! Her stage presence has definitely improved over the years. But holy ****, the crowd was annoying. So many people were there solely to socialize and acted as if they didn't care about the concert at all, and the air was pungent with the smell of weed. (I don't care if people choose to partake, but I hate the smell of it). Overall, though, I enjoyed it and would do it again. Which performance of the night was the best? She did a sort of rock-sounding version of Young and Beauitful which was good, and it was nice hearing West Coast live for the first time. The crowd flipped their **** when she started Blue Jeans, and she got really into it. I was at the Dallas show a couple days ago, and I know exactly what you mean about the crowd... Seriously. My friend and I were right beside the little gated area where the camera/sound people were in the middle of the square. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the other people there were annoying.
