All of you (18+ plslol) should watch Clockwork Orange  :) "Ultraviolence" is a slang term from the film and, who knows, maybe the movie has more influence on the album. Lana's said before that she centers an album around one name/song/idea.

Lana Del Rey fans? ;)

I never watched it, what is the theme/storyline of the movie? it seems quite interesting (even tho im not 18  :P )

Fantastic film and book (although a bit difficult to read). Stanley Kubrick was a genius. :legend:

It's set in the future where a gang regularly commits these awful crimes. The leader of the group is eventually caught and put under this special treatment to "cure" him and it's successful, which allows him to be freed, but then he still has to face his past.

It's such a good film. The book is, too, but it's filled with a special type of slang used by the gang and the leader, which makes it a little difficult to get through on the first read.
