DXPE 924
The live version was so much better.
EdgeofTeeth 1,934
I still like the Brooklyn Baby snippet more than everything we've heard from Ultraviolence And I still really like the new material.
pawzUP 335
I'm not feeling it. I'm way more excited for Brooklyn Baby
Brandon 457
I'm disappointed with the UV tracks because I can barely hear the lyrics and it doesn't slay me.
hausofmike 127
Love it. But why a single?
SlayedForTheGod 665
I haven't felt any of the songs that have been released. West coast was okay. Idk I think its the instrumentals or her vocals. The way they are recorded they don't really pack a punch.
n0ne 13,105
I really like Ultraviolence. I hear West Coast and something else I can't quite put my finger on, in the song. The psychedelic tone and her soft vocals really make the song. "My people… need to let our bitchiness out. Otherwise, it turns to bile and poisons us"
Helix 1,487
I love the way all the songs we've gotten from Ultraviolence this far make me feel Like I can't describe it but so far they're having more of an instant impact than Born To Die did :nooo: Edit: What I also like is how the songs don't sound similar imo Like West Coast sounds like a cool rock song, Shades of Cool is all eerie and strong and Ultraviolence is dark and minimal I'm just loving this album so far
ReRe 1,957
So far majority of the people who heard Ultraviolence LOVE it. Slay Lana!
inuborg 4,136
Is it going to be on iTunes tonight? I root for you. I love you. You, you, you, you.
Haroon 49,685
I've had it on repeat since I first opened this thread My favourite out of the 3 released tracks so far
EdgeofTeeth 1,934
I think it would be TONS better if the bridge was more like the climax of the song. She doesn't really go for it in the studio version, I just wish she had done the vocals more powerfully like she does in the live version of the bridge.
