Helix 1,487
the tumblr account who gave us the snippets, said that if Black Beauty would not leak, Ultraviolence (Album) would leak in December 2013 without the inclusion of Dan Auerbach and the tumblr account said we should expect a leak around 9th or 10th Didn't that Tumblr account also say they'll leak the Ulyraviolence demos after the album release? and a leak on the 9th/10th would make sense tbh we're getting so close :nooo:
ithinkweed 142
Pre-ordered Ultraviolence physical and iTunes copies So excited for it, Ultraviolence (the song) is very beautiful!
ALX 170
Thank god Black Beauty leaked, she really would've quit music if Rick had uploaded the entire album to his site as they finished songs and someone leaked it

MaybeKermit 5,093
I'm probably one of ldr's biggest fans etc, and I love everything I heard from Ultraviolence so far... BUT WHY ARE PEOPLE SAYING THAT SHE'S BEING RISKY AND EXPERIMENTAL?? Everywhere on youtube etc they're saying like 'wow can't recognize her anymore.' 'Ultraviolence is so different, I won't like it.....' All her music sounds the same (don't get me wrong, she still slays), and yes I know that maybe she's going back to her roots But really? This isn't new at all. It's just another typical ldr album that going to slay us probably. No need to say she's doing sth totally different imo :awkney:
VISION 52
It's the same situation as it was with Gags. Look out for "it's ha BTW era" and many of her fans leaving the fanbase She is going for a more raw and soft rock music Oh, and one thing I noticed - In BTD and Paradise she was all fancy/chic/wealthy-looking, and now she is more down-to-earth in her image, but still unearthy is sound (WC chorus.. )
johnjeric 0
At first I was skeptical about West Coast and Shades of Cool, but now I love both equally. It just takes time and a couple of spins to get familiar with her music. The only thing that scares me is how long some of her songs are... one even reached the 6 minute mark. I don't know if I'll be here for prolonged songs.
Helix 1,487
Well I mean it is SORT OF "risky" or "experimental" because its not loaded with hip hop beats & violins and echoing guitars. It's more drums and guitars and a few weird synths and violins thrown in. I mean, the production is smaller than it was for BTD & Paradise So all in all, I think what people are trying to say is that they don't know if they'll like the fact that the production isn't as large and powerful as it was for her debut Also I don't really agree that all her music sounds the same. You could definitely say similar but I don't think same is the right word
