Paradise was essentially a darker version of Born To Die, but in a strange way I can't put my finger on. Either way, it made Paradise far less re-listenable than BTD which I still listen to regularly whereas with Paradise I play a few songs every now and then but nowhere near as much. I'm here for something totally new for her though, I felt BTD and Paradise make a nice package alá The Fame/The Fame Monster and I'm ready for Lana's Born This Way! I think we will have songs like Angels Forever cause it references the stars, sun, sky, wind etc. That could be considered spiritual. BTD is dark, but in an angst-ridden teenage fashion. There's almost a carefree spirit behind it. The darkness of Paradise is more heavy and brooding.
