To be honest, I LOVE Born to Die and Paradise, but I can't stand the majority of her unreleased songs :noparty:  :lana:

 

Most of those songs lack the cinematic aura that has made Lana's legally released stuff so iconic and noteworthy. It sets her apart from everyone else. 

 

With Ultraviolence, I REALLY hope that she doesn't fall to what mainstream radio wants and turns to generic dance instrumentals.

She's not putting songs like Damn You and Kinda Outta Luck on the album. They were intended for BTD and didn't make it

Yeah, same here. There's only 2 or 3 unreleased songs that I like.

because they're demos. You don't hire an orchestra for a demo.

 

Also, if there's even a doubt in your mind that Lana might turn to releasing generic anything, then take another look at her work. Then listen to her in an interview talking about her stance on creating music. Then think again  ;)
