StrawberryBlond 14,357 Posted April 27, 2013 Share Posted April 27, 2013 Attention anyone who bought tickets for the 15th and/or 16th of May at the O2 Academy Glasgow - due to overwhelming demand, both gigs have morphed into one gig at the SECC Arena, Glasgow on 16th May. Tickets that have already been purchased for the O2 shows are still valid and don't need to be transferred (even seating tickets - although they'll still be un-reserved, so unfortuntely, you'll have 10,000 seats to choose from!) For those who bought tickets for 15th at the O2 but can't attend the re-scheduled date, refunds are available now. This announcement was made on Thursday, the date that tickets for the SECC have gone on sale. So glad that I was just browsing the Hydro Arena's page today or I never would've found out otherwise and wasted so much time only to find that the gig had been moved and I'd have to come back the next day! This sucks for anyone who can't make the 16th (especially if they won't find out until they arrive at the original venue). And to be honest, I was looking forward to a really intimate experience with just 2,500 people. But on the bright side, this is yet another arena that Lana's been scheduled for this tour, which means she's getting more and more successful and she may well book more arena venues with her next tour, meaning all her fans are far more likely to get tickets! Thought the same but there was this personal atmosphere even in a pretty big arena. But it depends on the sound, it was amazing in Hamburg. Some seem to really dislike it, possibly for some "sound quality" problem, but I think it sounds good the way it is tbh. It's such an awesome song. I immediately liked it way better than Ride when they were both released. This is exactly why I didn't like it for the first six month of its existence.
