Supersonic 49,376
The US embassy apologized to actor Elyas M'Barek, because he is only able to travel to the United States under aggrevated circumstances. The actor ("Fack Ju Göhte") complained about that while giving an interview to the newspaper "Tagesspiegel." Upon arriving in the US at the airport he always ended up in an extra, seperated room (aka interrogation room) till now, according to M'Barek, even though he is a citizen of Austria. "As soon as you got an arabic name, you'll get sorted out. And they never even tell you what is going to happen next." The newspaper published the interview via Facebook - and within minutes the US embassy in Berlin spoke out: "We are very sorry to her about experiences like that while travelling to the United States." Furthermore, they also addressed the actor himself: "Elyas M'Barek: sorry!" http://www.spiegel.de/panorama/leute/elyas-m-barek-us-botschaft-diskutiert-mit-facebook-nutzern-a-1020823.html
