It makes it sound like the Earth is getting warmer; which isn't fooling anyone in this weather over here in America. "Climate Change" is more suitable. I agree that a better term to use would be "climate change." however, the average temperature of the earth is increasing every year so technically it is "warming." We've had an unseasonably cold winter in the eastern half of the US but the rest of the world has been warmer on average. I have a degree in atmospheric science btw. I remember one day the high was in the low 20s and the next it was in the mid 70s. While I agree with what you said, it would just be a more "universal friendly" term to say "climate change" so you won't get idiots in Miami saying Global Warming is a myth when it gets that rare snowfall.. Climate Change means you can argue ANY weather out of the ordinary proves the theory. I'd be more impressed if they'd predicted the Polar Vortex in advance. Catastrophic change has and will happend, regardless of human activities imo.You can defenitly see the impact of pollution on local regions, but the earth ? Now we are getting scientific imput about the oceans, 2/3 of the globe. I think the science behind predicting global climate and the human impact needs more time. Everything they tell us now is 'theory' like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still.
