mcphee 1,790 Posted April 18, 2015 Share Posted April 18, 2015 Well that's me just found this thread. Mess me. I'm so happy with the cast for this season, really. Kathy, Sarah, Gaga, Wes, Matt and Chloe are just great. Never seen Cheyenne in anything, but I trust Ryan's casting decisions, he's always great when it comes to casting. In other thoughts though, I really hope it doesn't become all about Gaga, because as much as I love her, I love the show equally as much so I truly hope that all the actors and characters will be on more of an equal ground. As far as more of the previous regulars returning, I'm happy to say goodbye to all of them - at least for this round. I think it is definitely time to freshen up the show, and alongside the departure of Jessica I think it makes it even more appropriate. I do want Finn Wittrock back though, I think it would be great to see him as a somewhat normal character this time around. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

In Asylum she was the head of a mental institution, in Coven she was head of the Coven and in Freak Show she was the ringleader of sorts. So applying that logic, alongside the fact that it is the queen Kathy Bates, an actress of similar acclaim to Jessica, and the fact that she is playing the hotel manager it is a completely plausible idea. I'm glad Jessica is gone in the sense that It is clear that she would have most likely been in the 'Hotel Manager' role if she had stayed. But then again, that is just how I've been looking at it. This is how I always thought of the show also in regard to characters and what not. I hope Kathy is a villain again, like Coven.
