Didymus 34,380
That's kind of a non-opinion imo, of course it's easier to accept for the American public. But is that what she should go for?
ARTPOPchamp 292
What it comes down to is how popstars imitating Gaga caused of an over saturation of "the weird" and what Gaga originally did, the public grew tired of all the popstars doing what Gaga did. They've wanted her to do something different to set herself apart from them, as now she has, well done Gaga. Gaga was welcomed with open arms by a lot of people during the Fame and the Fame Monster, the aesthetic wasn't "too strange" to be accepted, it's just that that everyone mimicking it is what caused people to retreat from Gaga. A lot of people accepted the strangeness of Gaga, more so than Monsters like to think, but as said, it was the constant popstar weirdness that the public grew exhausted of - Nicki, Katy, Rihanna, everyone trying to capitalize on what Gaga brought.
