LoveandMagic 1,731
Julie Andrews is an incredible talent. The Sound of Music owes a large chunk of it's success to the legendary Ms. Andrews. She is so effortlessly classy and an amazing human being. To get such praise from her is just incredible. The highest honor. I am sure Gaga appreciates it so much. It means way more than the thousands of praises sung by the ever fickle music critics. And screw the charts, she's in the big leagues now! Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

heavyMetalGAGA 65
I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THIS NONE OF US WERE I read that her vocal coach mentioned that she told him that if she pulled the performance off, it was going to change the focus of her career. What do you think she meant by that? Less auto tune and theatrics for her upcoming solo release? I would totally be here for a rock/metal/new wave influenced album that didn't have to follow any annoying "pop" industry rules. Btw, here is the link for the article: http://www.etonline.com/awards/oscars/160158_lady_gaga_worked_with_a_vocal_coach_every_day_for_6_months_for_epic_sound_of_music_performance/

The legendary 79-year-old star, who inspired a collective round of reverential "awww"s in the lobby of the Dolby Theatre when she took the stage at Sunday night's show, then added the best spoonful of sugar imaginable. "I have always been a fan, but last night we bonded and now I have a new friend"
