I don't believe "having talent = having a good voice" but okay. I don't like the way Gaga plays it safe since last year just to please more people. Wasn't she the one who said "I want the world to remember how uncomfortable I made people feel" ? I simply don't like the way it's all going on and I just cannot stand the fact that her "little monsters" are coming back for her just because the media likes this new version of hers.

Tell me how releasing a jazz album was safe. Do you not see how this new respect is gonna help her in the long run? If Katy or Taylor or Madonna could pull this off, I'd break my hip running to FYE to purchase ther whole discography. Inb4 everyone starts reporting 'WAIT... ARTPOP WAS GOOD!' Lol

This is AMAZING. Seriously there is not a single negative comment about the performance and that is impressive. Everybody is literally loving her vocals and the way she performed. The media is praising her so much. Great job, Gaga :legend:

Apparently everyone forgot Lady Gaga is a really, really talented singer?

Maybe it’s the wigs and the crazy outfits. Maybe it’s the meat dresses and the being carried in an egg and all that blood. Whatever it is, people seem to have forgotten that first and foremost Gaga is an insanely talented singer. But they remembered tonight.

Gaga’s secret performance at the Academy Awards turned out to be a tribute to The Sound of Music for its 50th anniversary. She took the stage for a very toned down medley of “The Sound of Music,†“My Favorite Things,†“Edelweiss†and “Climb Ev’ry Mountain.â€

I don't think I've ever been more proud to be a Monster...

I had chills all over from the first note to that last one...

And my eyes got wet when Julie Andrews came on stage...

This was the moment we all waited for.. The Grammys were nothing compared to this. It was nice to see her solo for the first time in a while...
