Should the lead single of LG4/5/6 be the title track?

Born This Way had huge sales, and I think that in part it was due to the album being named after an instantly recognizable song. I think the next one should have a lead single/title track so that the GP can easily recognize it as Gaga. Maybe it would be negligible, but I think it would help on some level.

If the song is good, then yes. Not just because it's the title track.

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

If it's the best song on the album, yes

this, i wouldn't have wanted the fame, monster, or ARTPOP as lead singles...

If it's a good track, it will be a hit.

Just Dance didn't need to be called The Fame.

Bad Romance did need to be called The Fame Monster.

Their respective albums still smashed. In fact, the albums did well because their lead singles raised awareness and interest... not because the lead single was its namesake.

I want TFM style with BTW sales. As long as the music is good, the album could be named Annalise Keating, and for all I care, the song could be named Cookie Monster .

It doesn't always have to be the title track the one that needs to be released as the lead single. It happened with BTW because of the hype. After Born This Way, I don't think ARTPOP (the song) would've been a great first single from the album because it's a little slower than most of Gaga's known songs.

It'd have been amazing to see what would have happened if Marry The Night was released as the first single (or The Edge of Glory), then go for Born This Way and have an even bigger reception.

If it's the best or second best song on the album. I think it's a good strategy to make the first single the second best song on the album and the make the second single the best one. Kind of reels people in and then seals the deal, especially since Gaga usually drops the second single close to the album's release date.

I don't think it matters. The quality is what matters, and now that Gaga is working with RedOne again, I have hope for her next album. She really needs to leave DJWS and Garibay behind for a bit.
