Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 has bested its predecessors in China with a $31.4M estimated gross after eight days.

The Hunger Games and its 2013 sequel Catching Fire did about $28M in China in their lifetimes.

Could I just ask...

Why are movies released in China and Japan (both huge world powers) months after they're released worldwide?

Why is 99% of music pirated in China but they clearly don't mind paying for cinema tickets?

He didn't lie tho....

Having read the book and all, the book was too small for them to make it into 2 movies, they could've just made one really good movie, because the 1st part is drainning and it gets super boring...

but Hollywood wanted that money honey !

Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen

The movies get heavily edited for censoring.

I believed Django Unchained had to be edited very heavily for Chinese theaters because of all the blood and violence.
