The media is ****ed up but anyone with a brain of their own knows that. I'm not defending the media, I guess I'm just defending myself against the statement "white man". You dont need to defend that you're a white man. I am too but that doesn't mean I have to add that in whenever I agree with a post related to white male privilege. No one actually believed him but you can't get mad at the media for reporting what people say. Everyone knows it was a hate crime but the papers will report what the guy actually says too. I don't get it, was this man a convert, because Terrence Lavaron is not a muslim name. Many converts who do radicalise make sure to change the first name too. The attack was so random, clearly a disturbed individual. He was arrested for d--g possession as well, not a sign of a very religious person. This just a hate crime. I saw the discussion about it being a hate crime all over CNN, local news and the Nightly News. There were also tons of articles in the media. I live in the US and I watch the news. They were running the story, with the discussion of it being a hate crime or not, on every major network news and during every hour of news on CNN. The US government is running a seperate investigation into the crime. Investigations take time. When the results of the investigation are released, we will hear about it.
