VasilisVas 5,202
If she comes out with a better record than ARTPOP, then yes.
gagzus 16,295
If she makes generic pop that sells a lot then yeah bc that's all "critics" care about (the real critics gave ARTPOP a fair review and casual music fans get confused with "critics" in reviews tbh) Take beyonce's latest release, if it wasn't generic (bc let's face it, it's nothing special) and wasn't an album with Gaga's 2012 ARTPOP visual album idea it wouldn't have been well received tbh. XoXoJoanneGaga 629
And if her prediction for first week are huge The reviews are written before the album even comes out and the numbers are in. The idea that people don't like certain albums because they don't sell well is just made up by fans of said album who can't accept that there are genuine problems with it
Weasel 12,525
Well if it performs better than ARTPOP they'll probably build her up again, if not, may the lord be with us :air:
Nino 12
She's become one of the media's favorite punching bags alongside miley and kanye. i'm apprehensive to say they'll ever be fair again.

XoXoJoanneGaga 629
yes. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/lady-gagas-live-artflop-nyc-ghosts-and-flowers-20140514 I was talking about the album reviews. But regardless his problems with the show weren't cause the album underperformed, if you read it it was because he didn't like the setlist, there were too many speeches, and the show was too short (all valid criticisms). Mikebristow 35
The Problem with "SO CALLED CRITICS" is Gaga is smarter then a good portion of them. And many of them are so snooty they hate things they don't understand. I remember reading a multitude of reviews for AP and thinking are they listening to the same album I am? Music is art and art is soo subjective. THAT BEING SAID......I love Gaga and no damn critic is going to change that!
Rae 86
ARTPOP is great. That is why she got rediculed. All her albums have different messages, but what I love is she does songs on how she feals and/or experiances in life. What more can you ask for? Ah, the industry just has more artist to support than the ones that have pure talant. Unfair to Gaga.
Guest
They're already being nicer to her with Cheek to Cheek, so hopefully.
Vernier 3,786
If pubic opinion of her is favourable, they'll be nicer to her Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn
TheOriginalOne 11,126
If she kept it toned down people would say "I missed it when Gaga was crazy and unpredictable" then she'd go back to it and then they'd say "She was better toned down" and it'd just be a roller coaster of f*ckery. So it's up to Gaga to do what she pleases. The critics are meaningless.
Wet Fire 7,891
In an interview about Gaga's Grammy look, Brandon Maxwell said that the reason behind Gaga's toned down look is Jazz. She wants to dress like a classy diva during Jazz era. But her next non-Jazz record will probably mark the return of crazy outfits again.

She was getting pretty classy towards the end of ARTPOP transitioning into the jazz so I wouldn't say that.
