Um, I don't introduce my friends to GGD. That's how you lose friends.

I don't even tell people I like Gaga anymore. I lost a lot of friends that way.

I never lost friends because of that (fortunately) but it certainly "repels" people

I mean, don't get me wrong. I'm proud of Gaga and her accomplishments as an artist. However, there are still many that don't understand her. I also live in Texas, which has a lot of conservatives who barely warmed up to her since she started singing jazz and dressed in more classy, conventional ways.

If people are going to judge you so harshly and cut ties based on which music you listen to then they're not worth having as friends at all in my opinion :shrug:

They didn't deserve you in the first place then. It's their fault for letting a kind soul like you go and not opening their minds to music and art in non conservative ways.
