faux 2,190 Posted February 15, 2015 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Several hundred residents of Kyiv attended a rally of unity between Ukraine and Lithuania on Feb. 15. The rally was organized by a Ukrainian youth organization “Heart to heart†and Lithuanian embassy in Ukraine. Lithuania has been one of the staunchest supporters of Ukraine in its war with Russia. Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite has likened the tactics of Russian President Vladimir Putin to those of Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin and Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, Reuters news agency reported. The rally of unity was attended by students of various educational institutions of ministry of internal affairs of Ukraine. People carried two giant flags of Lithuania and Ukraine as a symbol of solidarity and friendship. They marched along Khreshchatyk Street and European Square to the music of police orchestra.
