Gaga was even quoted as saying ''They actually re-sculpted my right hip ... I have better rotation now. I'm actually a better dancer now than I was before!'' Although her dancing for Applause and G.U.Y was good, her most complex choreography was during the Born This Way era. While choreography for songs such as Scheiße are highlights, I'm focusing more on the singles that are Judas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8q7DTy5YF24 Marry The Night: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9wr8XAbWJU Born This Way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xl0N7JM3wZk Now the Judas rehearsal video I posted and the Marry The Night performance are the best examples of her choreography for the Born This Way era but these singles have been cut from ARTPOP performances either due to problems with the choreography or, likely, because of their status as "lesser" hits. Born This Way is a little less complex than the other examples but is the only one still in Gaga's repertoire, however for ARTrave and Roseland she decided to play a piano based version rather than show off the choreography. We did see the Born This Way choreography during the ARTPOP era but only once: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ad5gUjGkBkI This performance, imo, seems more stiff and awkward than her previous BTW performances. This may be because she was still healing, because she cannot perform her dance routine for BTW like she could before or it could be for an entirely different reason. The question I'm really asking is, do you think Gaga really can dance like she could before? Do you think she will eventually be able to dance like she could in that Judas rehearsal video with more work? Or do you think Gaga is permanently back to a more TFM style of dance? VTV 12,842 Posted February 15, 2015 Share Posted February 15, 2015 gagz became depressed when the doctor told her she could not dance again as much as before. she lied. she then gain weight and needs to tone down choreography for most performances its really hard for her to become a pop star again so you know what happened...right now i think she's getting back on track. In her music videos she always dance like crazy (like applause & G.U.Y), but the live performances are a little weak when you watch her dance and move. That's not true. I mean, it's fair to have a discussion about whether her choreography has been effected but the Applause choreography was still more complex and hard than the Bad Romance choreography. She hardly retired to Jazz because she could not longer dance. she was never good at dancing. She was never great at dancing but she was better than average.
