Sounds like the writer is a pop listener who doesn't know much about rap and just felt like sharing his least favourite songs that has a rap verse he likes. I pretty much disagree with all of it.

The verses on Payphone, Dark Horse, ET, and California Gurls made good pop songs worse. 

 

(Edit: I like those songs, but I'm just saying the rap didn't help anything)

VH1 doesn't even know what they're talking about anymore tbh. With their waste lists.

 

I only agree with Nicki, Kanye, and Snoop's features cause they managed to maintain the flow/concept of the songs while adding their own flare to it. However, their verses are also weak in content.
