Michael 533 Posted February 13, 2015 Share Posted February 13, 2015 It may have ended ten years ago, but that's not going to stop Iran from finally remaking classic NBC sitcom Friends.   And their replication of Monica Geller's New York apartment ain't half bad.  Writer David Patrikarakos shared pictures of the set on Twitter along with the caption: "Iran has made a 'Friends' knock-off. Look at those sets: marvellous attention to detail."  The images show Monica's (Courteney Cox in the original) iconic kitchen, front door, sitting room and balcony.   The kitchen - complete with two actors who are possibly the Iranian answer to Chandler and Ross - bears a striking resemblance to the US original.
