I Didn't Think ArtRAVE Was That Great

The stage was like a canvas. White, colorless, without life. But once the colors (in this case the lights) are applied on it, it can turn into something magic, shifting colors and shapes, becoming a symbiosis of many things. Becoming art. The artRAVE stage was the EMBODIMENT of the whole "I am every icon" and "I am the canvas" concept of the ARTPOP era. The stage was awesome, I've seen it live in concert. I LOVED how with every song a different pattern and color could completely shift the mood and perception of the stage design. So, the plain white look was the whole point of the stage.

they are just very different tours... the btwb was based on theatrics... The castle was epic tbh. However, arrive wasn't built on theatrics it was supposed to be a rave... which it succeeded imo. The lighting at artRave was far superior to that of the born this way ball. also the catwalk at artRave was much more innovative than anything at the born this way ball

It's obviously her worst tour (not taking intoa ccount Fame one). BTWB>>>>>artRave. Even thoughs he had less energy, the music, and the production in general was way better

Stop. There's no such a need to dig that deep.

I didn't dig deep, I just stated the obvious. I am very sorry if it wasn't clear to you.

I never even claimed the artRAVE stage to be better than the BTWB stage. I just wanted to explain the (very obvious) concept of the artRAVE stage, that's all.

Well, I mean the stage was initially a blow up decoration  :thirst:

I thought the same when we first started getting images/ videos of the show, but after I experienced it, my whole attitude changed and I completely fell in love with it.

As far as Gaga goes, I try to never compare tours, because each time it's a special/ different experience and I find that once you start comparing, that's when disappointment comes.

No, I liked artRAVE's stage a lot better. The runways were a very cool, different idea, and it made everything feel more personal. The set is white because the show's lighting is impeccable and created different feels for everything song. The lights transformed the white set to whatever she wanted, as well as the screens, which had beautiful backdrops and interludes. I thought it was her most fun and visually interesting tour yet.

This! x100 Even though I don't really like the ARTPOP album, she still gave off the energy to get me dancing and have the time of my life. I loved the tour and would go again tbh.
