Anyway, just because Gaga tweetedBeck some kind words on his win doesn't mean she shades Beyoncé, that's absurd It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead. He blended and fused many genres of music when you look back at his back catalog of music, something Gaga likes to do, and has respect for those that are instinctive in that way and create their own music. He is an accomplished musician and tends to stay in his own lane doing his thing. I can see where she would respect him. He had a back injury and couldn't even play guitar and struggled with putting out music, and finally had a breakthrough and put out his latest album. Gaga, having gone through her own struggles with her hip and musically struggling, probably understood the impact of him making an album that he was proud of and got great reviews. Gaga always really admires talented musicians who have a vision of their own music and experiment without expectations of commercialism. He has always been a respected musician. She's an artist and I think probably relates to him on many different levels and why she was rooting for him to win an award that night, whether it be rock album of the year or whatever.. It's the best thing Kanye could have done, dissing Beck in such a tacky way, and it backfired on him. LOL His rant and Beck's classy response have created interest in his catalog of music to a whole new generation and also articles praising Beck as an artist and his long career. No one is really talking about Beyonce. Everybody is talking about Beck and his varied career bringing him back to the forefront. Thanks, Kanye. LOL Ha-ha. There should be a Charlie Sheen style T-Shirt or hashtag. Beck WINNING!!!!! I think you have hit it square on the head! In my opinion Beck deserved the award way more than Beyonce. But I doubt she's crying in her sleep, didn't she go home with THREE awards that night? Plus,Gaga tweeted her happiness over it. So all good. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show.
