Economy 52,838
http://news.yahoo.com/us-economy-produces-257-000-jobs-january-134158780.html The US January jobs report came out better than expected with 257,000 jobs created in January. Even more notable is that both November and Decembers estimates were revised up with November in particular showing a huge increase of over 400,000 jobs Between November and January, in that span of 3 months, over 1 million jobs were created in the US. The accelerating job growth gives higher odds that inerest rates will in fact be risen this year However many great concerns are arising... For starters too many jobs created over the past few years have been part-time. Many jobs created are low paying and many people may have to work 2 jobs instead of 1 to get the same pay/hours with so many part-times and so job creation is not as stellar as it looks on the surface Secondly the surging dollar is hurting corporate earnings and exporters. The trade deficit for December ballooned to over $46 Billion the highest in 2 years. A high dollar and weak global economy places questions on whether or not the recently improved manufacturing sector will start to dwindle again. Willy Wonka 4
no idea what that means. Language, grammer, spelling etc is not my forte. that's okay! i'm terrible with economics, so we're even. haha. colloquial means it's informal or has taken on a meaning that transcends strict definition. so like "what's up?" "in a jiffy" "hop/jump in" are colloquial. basically everything on urban dictionary would be colloquial too. according to Know Your Meme: “Thanks, Obama!†is a sarcastic expression used by critics of President Barack Obama to blame personal troubles and inconveniences on public policies supported or enacted by the administration. The phrase is often used to caption animated GIFs in which the subject appears to be struggling with a rather simple task, satirizing those who scapegoat Obama as the cause of problems for which he has little or no influence. so it was supposed to be funny that i was attributing this positive thing to him by using "thanks obama" even though he had nothing to do with it. the opposite, but the same of what his critics did. PPL need to think more Like why is the US recovering? a lot of the imbalances created during the unsustainable boom that caused over-heating between 2004 to 2006 are corrected during bad economic times like: - people being more cautious with spending and paying down debt - home construction depressed after the crash so as population grows the over-supply imbalance is corrected - the crashed automotive industry allowed cars to age and build up demand for new ones so the eccess supply has been corrected Theres too much to list. But the point is, party leaders influence long term competitiveness of an economic with the policies they set and stuff like that But short term changes that happen over a 5 to 10 year period ( 1 or 2 presidential or prime minister terms) are cyclical things. Because people dont understand that, the party that looks bad is whoever had the bad luck of getting the hot potato. In otherwords being in office when an inevitable recession is due Not saying their decisions dont influence outcomes. Just that people over-estimate their impact on market forces

Economy 52,838
When will Europe The US had excesses in the economy that built up during the boom years. The economy over-heated between 2004 to 2006 growing at an unsustainable rate and the imbalances eventually crashed on themselves and caused a severe recession The recession corrected many imbalances. Consumers became more cautious with spending and so consumer debt bubble was corrected... Real-estate collapse depressed construction for a few years and over-supply of homes was corrected. Too much car production??? Well when the recession came and ppl stopped buying new cars eventually cars aged and got old and there was a need for more new ones. All kinds of corrections happened during the recession. Too many to list But Europes problems werent just macro problems or imbalances that the market could correct itself. Much of it is eccessive Government debt, way too much regulation and really bad economic policies that wont fix thenselves Many problems in the Us that caused the recession are issus the market foxes itself. Most of Europes problems on the otherhand cannot fix themselves, it will take Government actions and so its difficult to say when Europe will get the growth cause it depends on the Governments actions He's the most interesting member on site tbh awe thankyou
