Really seems like something her label would do. I mean even if she did make the decision (which i doubt) that's okay because it's her work, why should she let other people make money off it?

the first thing that came to my mind was why should anyone want to buy this doll. ( it barely looks like taylor)

having said that i believe that it may seem a bit petty for taylor and katy going after people who use them to gain profit because they are like multi millionaires but its their legal right!

I wouldn't let anyone sell stuff about me either. Do it for themselves? YES! LOVE IT! But sell it? H*LL TO THE FIDDLE NO!

Maybe it's not even Taylors fault. You know how big companies work, they try to eliminate every possible loss of money. Even if it's just a fanmade puppet. It's likely that Swift herself is not even aware of what happened. Her record label probably takes care of legal stuff.

She just doesn't want people making money off of her without her consent.

That is okay.

She did nothing wrong

She doesn't have to let others exploit her

I agree with these two

You don't have to sit there and let people make money off your back, and then I think it's people higher up who care about it because they're all about maximising money :laughga: Which is fair game because she's part of a big business which involves a lot of people - stopping people from selling Taylor-related merchandise means they're more likely to go buy official merchandise which can add up to a lot. Why would people want to be paid less when they could be paid more?
