crybrowz 3,391
Thats ironic because I had to give a presentation on euthanasia yesterday for my theology class and I said that I think its a good idea and I explained why and my teacher (who is a nun) went on a rant about how horrible it is and that it should never be approved

SleepingSun 1,479
Everyone has the right to die if they want. The only problem I see is that the doctors who assist might face psychological problems. Even if someone agrees, it's not easy to know that you killed a person, or provided the means that they could do it themselves. But then again, doctors have to face death a lot, so maybe they are able to cope with it. One second I'm a troll, then suddenly the troll is me. sarahb 17,213
I think it's weird how we euthanise animals because we dont want them to be in pain yet we let humans suffer. If someone has no hope of surviving I don't see the problem, it's more dignified than dying in agony. Do you feel him sir?
Luc 4,776
Good. My mother told me that I get to decide when she dies, if she has dementia or something and can't decide for herself. Euthenasia is a human right.Everyone has the right to die if they want. The only problem I see is that the doctors who assist might face psychological problems. I think it actually makes the doctor feel better, because they'll know that their patient won't have to live in pain.

I guess the feeling of 'I helped my patients' instead of 'I killed my patients' will be stronger. One second I'm a troll, then suddenly the troll is me. Miker 5,683
Soon Canadians that qualify for doctor assisted suicides won't need to travel outside of the county. Previously there have been people that have travelled to places like The Netherlands where this is legal. The debate will continue and it will focus on the guidelines that people need to meet before the procedure is applied. Mars..........or bust!
