I appreciate this. This is great for people with incurable diseases or people who want to just committ suicide with the least ampunt of pain as possible in addition to giving a person control over their life and what to do with their assets and liabilities without committing suicide and leaving the family with their entire debt

That is still not allowed.

In a place with free healthcare, there are pretty much no negatives to physician assist suicide. It's voluntary for both parties and often less traumatic for families. Still sad though.

I completely agree. It's about quality of life.

I work at a facility that does wildlife rehabilitation; if an animal has an injury but can live without pain and do well in our education department, we'll keep them. (We've got birds with missing eyes, irreparable broken wings, mental injuries, etc. who do really well in our care and live comfortably) But if an animal has a health condition that's going to force them to live in pain every day, or their behavior is such that living in captivity would cause them emotional stress, we humanely euthanize.

I feel people should have that option too. It's their life, and no one should have to die after suffering for years.

With the title I was scared it would be allowed just for suicidal people :ohno: But that is great. I've always thought people with a disease that can't be cured or people so old that they can't do anything should be allowed to die if they want.

Economy

No theyre not
ummm...

- allowing women to vote
- allowing women to serve on military and on front lines
- creating charter of rights and standards to not allow discrimination
- LGBT rights like same-s-x marriage

Like when it comes to being progressive on social issues like the ones above among others we have brrn always among the first to accept new standards and turn them to law when it was still controversial among conservatives.

Unless ur talking about the Environment in which were behind the developed world but considering how many natural resources we have that shouldnt come as a surprise :rip:
