I feel bad for your friend's taste

Seriously? Britney's Circus is actually really great. She has a couple of amazing PVs.

I actually really like the song and video!  :saira:

Reminded me of Applause very slightly, must just be the performance stage aspect :spin:

Other than the final minute, I don't find something 'awesome' about it.

Because a mash up can prove that to you? :smh:

It was done before you know :awkney:

Oh... Lord a Madonna sychopant on a Gaga site. Shouldn't you be on Paws Down.

If anything it shows that those beats and the beats of all pop songs can be mashed up and I hope it puts to rest the BTW and EY silliness. Pop song use 4 chords in a progression throughout the song. Once you have a chord progression that is the same you can mash up those two songs by speeding them up or slowing them down. Do you really think Madonna was the first artist ever to use the chord progression on Girl Gone Wild? lol

So basically you brought up a fanmade mashup to prove Living for love sounds like applause, and now you say the contrary :sharon:

Right she is just recycling her old stuff. Nothing new to see.

Song still sounds like Applause.

Like Applause sounds like Girl Gone Wild right?

EDIT: Oops already mentioned, but seeing as you're being so focussed on using double standards; it makes perfect sense that a user of a forum for a female pop artist would also be interested in the very person who set so many of the benchmarks of pop music for females.

Love it!  It couldn't be farther from what I was envisioning it to look like but damn she looks amazing.  YOU GO.

I absolutely LOVE this song, but I do not like this video. I truly think that this is +Madonna's best single in at least 15 years... since Ray of Light.

BUT... This video is "reductive" of Madonna's own previous music video canon. It honestly feels like Madonna is lacking a fresh, imaginative creative vision. It just feels like she's rehashing the same visual concepts over and over again. So, as a music video, I find this almost sad and definitely boring.

I mean, the best moment in the video is the very end with the Nietzsche quote - at that moment in the video, we are finally given a glimpse of some kind of meaning or vision to what is being expressed.

However, the rest of the video is primarily just beefcake dancing around... It reminds me of Girl Gone Wild, Vogue, and pretty much every other Madonna video already released. We're seeing nothing new, creative or innovative here... I urge Madonna to show us something new, something way more intimate, unique and soulful next time....

Aside from the Horns & the Baphomet connotations, of which I can understand people being triggered by, (and we have to assume that this was done intentionally) - the bullfighting concept has already been done by herself (Take A Bow) and lacks real meaning here... other than as an opportunity to show off the redundant s-xy beefcake bodies.
