The Aussie rapper previously revealed that she will feature on Spears's upcoming new single, which will lead the release of her ninth studio album. However, fans of the stars started speculating that Azalea had been dropped from the single, prompting the rapper to respond to the rumours on Twitter. "Insiders are always really OUTsiders with misinformation. This couldn't be further from the truth. Get ready," Azalea tweeted. She later added: "There are pretty epic plans underway for the song that's all I'll say." Speaking before Christmas about how Spears approached her to feature on the track, Azalea explained: "She said she would like to work with me in an interview and they reached out.
