Foivos 64
Biotic spilling that tea.. Luc you are so far right I can't.. How can a 15 old kid have such views. I guess thats because you are born rich. If you were born with having to live with 300 euros a month, I guess you would not support austerity and bash SYRIZA.. I guess thats because you are born rich. If you were born with having to live with 300 euros a month, I guess you would not support austerity and bash SYRIZA.. How is he far right? He doesn't say immigrants out etc. He even said that he supports a federal Europe. A far right person wouldn't say that. Mess. Learn something about politics and about the aims of parties. I personally live with 400-500 € a month in a city with high rents and I'm able to survive. I'm not a highly supporter of austerity, but I don't see why money should go to Greece without getting in back And you can be against austerity and Syriza. I mean, c'mon, they collaborate with the far right party.
Luc 4,776
Biotic spilling that tea.. Luc you are so far right I can't.. How can a 15 old kid have such views. I guess thats because you are born rich. If you were born with having to live with 300 euros a month, I guess you would not support austerity and bash SYRIZA.. I'm both liberal and social. I'm not born rich. My parents do indeed have a lot of money, but we're living a very normal, middle-class life. Austerity, privatizations and cuts would be the best for Greece, because they will result in more actual jobs (not artificial jobs aka public jobs) and more wealth in the end. I'm also for less rules for businesses and a more flexible labour market, because that's what makes a country attractive for businesses, and again that reduces unemployment and thus makes the government able to lower taxes which in turn attracts more business and makes the economy grow. I am however for a social system where not the income, but the total amount of money is well distributed. You work for your own money, and high taxes for a good job is demotivating. That's why (as unbeneficial that might be for me) I support a social tax system for money on banks, shares, heritages, etc, I believe all education including university should be free, the minimum wage should not be too low like in the US, immigrants should not be sent back and should be given enough money to live from, etc. That's not right, that's both liberal and social, which means that I'm in the middle. I don't get why you're trying to insult me with 'far right' instead of challening my argument and telling me why cuts are oh so bad. It's very possible to live off of €300 a month, that's what most East-Europeans do. Greeks are relatively rich, when you compare it to all other countries it's near to. Greece just had to face the cuts for a few years and they could keep lowering the amount of cuts as the tax incomes improved with a growing economy. Greece's minimum wage is on 2001 level if you take away the inflation. Greeks survived just fine then, too. Right?

bionic 50,111
Same. If Italy and Greece stay in the Eurozone, it's pretty much the only solution. I imagine a lot of EU countries would oppose it, and rightly so
LeoFameMonster 1,592
The pound? Power? As soon as the UK leaves the EU they'll be screwed. clearly you don't deal in international trade. UK maintained sovereignty in keeping the pound and not euro conversion. With all the collapse of the EU countries what do you think happens to the dollar? Strong as ever? lol all I am saying is that UK must be happy they have the pound.

Tommymonster44 0
Its easy to hate Greece in this situation, but let's remember Germany's past economic woes. Their debt has been erased in the past when they made poor economic decisions. Now that they are succeeding and becoming a world economic leader, with that comes responsibility. Britain and America have forgiven debt multiple times in the past. With that said, I think that Germany needs to be tough enough with the debt to make sure that the country's economics are managed properly. Its a balancing act. No one in Greece wanted/wants your help; helping a country that will never be able to help back. Lmao. have you been watching RT or something? Germany's (and all other Eurozone countries, remember that Greece owes Spain and Italy together more money than Germany) intention was to save their own asses, considering Greece was broke and nobody wanted to give them money besides the IMF (in limited amounts). If Greece went out of the Eurozone in 2012, the situation would've been way worse. Now the Eurozone can handle Greece leaving the Eurozone, but not other countries like Italy or Spain. If it wasn't for the Eurozone's help, Greece would basically be bankrupt.
