Stephen 30,432 Posted November 20, 2015 Share Posted November 20, 2015 So I saw Azealia yesterday, the show itself was one of the best moments of my life but the rest of the night was ****ing horrible I went with my ex-bf Nick, we took the train into NYC, which takes about an hour. But we missed the first train so we had to wait at the station for 30 min. We missed it literally by 5 seconds we were running and everything it was so embarrassing lol Also mind you it was pouring rain the whole night. So anyway we got into the city and walked to the venue which took another 30-40 min. We were ****in drenched let me tell you I've never been so wet in my entire life. It was horrible but I was just happy to finally be in line. There was a lot of people there so I got really excited and starting talking to some of the other fans. I was drunk by this time cuzz we had brought booze with us. Anyway so the show was insane. She had this kinda s--tty opener but when she finally came on all hell broke loose. She opened with Yung Rapunxel and legit I've never felt so much energy in my whole life, even at Gaga's shows. It was amazing. I didn't take any pics or vids cuzz I was having too much fun. She played for 40-50 min or something it was kinda short but all good. So after people started leaving I worked my way up to the barricade and was drunkenly trying to get the attention of security I was such a ****ing mess. I talked to the venue security, then I got ahold of one of Azealia's security members and then I even talked to one of her dancers. I just told them my name & was like "im a video editor its my dream to work with azealia blah blah" I probably wasn't making any sense. Anyway they eventually forced us all out and I started crying a little bit My phone was at 3% and I was tweeting nonsense Anyway we left, both our phones were dead. It was still raining. I had legit 4 dollars to my name cuzz we bought so many drinks at the show.. but I was starving so we stopped at McDonalds (which I never do) it was like rock bottom for me We made it back to the train station and we were trying to figure which track to go on when this older overweight guy randomly comes up to me. Mind you I was wearing my cat ears like this: (thats actually Nick in the picture too) anyway so yea it was obvious I was gay and this man comes up to me. I think his name was Chris and he like pulls me away from Nick a little bit and is saying all this weird **** like "Listen you got your whole life ahead of you, don't settle. This guy you're with won't even stand next to you, he's probably still questioning if he's gay" I was playing along and laughing (1) bc I was still drunk and (2) I didn't want to start a confrontation.. but Nick did He gets all in the guys face and is like "Hey man you got a ****ing problem with me? I'm his ex boyfriend I know him better than you" etc and I was gagging lmao I was kinda scared but it was hilarious. Anyway we got on the train and Nick was pissed. I had to calm him down it was so ridic. To top it all off we missed our stop coming home so we had to get off at the next station over and walk a mile or 2 back at 1 or 2am. But at least it stopped raining by then. So yea I'm exhausted & hungover af today.
