Dylanica 15
Back in 2012, Interscope Records took a big gamble by signing a volatile rapper from Chicago, Chief Keef. After legal troubles and Keef's apparent desire to make less mainstream-friendly music, the label parted ways with him after just one album, the under-performing Finally Rich. Now, the label has opted to sign another young rapper from Keef's city, but she couldn't be more different than her predecessor. With the news announced by Complex today, 20-year-old Dreezy has signed with Interscope. A sharp lyrical scalpel to Keef's blunt, elastic vocal presence, she should shake up the Chicago scene, as far as major label artists go. In celebration of the news, she shared the new track "Boss" SOURCE: http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/dreezy-signs-with-interscope-news.13431.html Also earlier last year, she released a mixtape called "Schizo" and remember when she released a remix of Nicki Minaj's "Chiraq"? inuborg 4,136
Azealia wanted to leave Polydor exclusively though. :( What are you talking about I think she said Polydor was the one greenlighting things and then Interscope would pause things. Chief Keef made awful music I understand their decision completely lol Yeah, but Interscope should have known better. They sign these young people off of Internet hype and then get mad when they don't want to sell out. I hope things work out for this new girl though. I root for you. I love you. You, you, you, you.
