blacklistedd 599
I wasn't saying that like it's a good thing I wish she was more popular, she deserves it. But lest be real, Lana's biggest hit was a remix She is popular. She is very popular. Thats what im trying to tell you. Shes not non-mainstream just because shes not on kiis fm here in the u.s. or whatever. Shes incredibly mainstream and appeals to the teeny bopper crowd as much as the majority of the people we talk about on this forum clearly.

She's still relatively unknown in most parts of the world. Her album only sold very well because the people that do know about her, are loyal and devoted. I've never heard her being talked about or listened to nearly as much as Rihanna or Sam Smith.

I never said she was a stadium filling pop star. But shes very well known in the markets that matter and that includes most European countries, America, and Australia. She is literally as well known as Rihanna in the U.S. shes just not filling up stadiums and getting plays on the radio ad-nauseum. Shes a modern version of a popular artist because her popularity derived from the internet. I seriously can't stand how her fans think shes some sort of under the radar artist. Why do you keep saying this? I don't think that makes her special at all and it wouldn't even be something to take pride in but she isn't that popular. She is not as well known as Rihanna. Even Iggy is more recognized by the general public than Lana.

Nah she is very popular and well known. She's not on the superstar level of a Rihanna or Bruno Mars, but she's pretty much on the next highest level below that. The Child 18,997
This comment is pathetic. Sit Why ? Just because I said the actually truth ? If anything, you're complimenting Rihanna. She has star power. Her name sells. Many other pop stars can't do the same. Even though I must admit that the reaction to this single has been underwhelming. But her singles are always growers, so we'll see. I didn't say she didn't have star power, I love Rihanna for her fun, silly & uptempos songs, I'm not here for an album full of Four Five seconds Aren't you the user who wished something bad would happen to Rihanna, so that she wouldn't be able to release music? I think that's pathetic tbh. You're vile. Yes and I was joking, sorry you didn't get it. And who are you to say I'm vile ? ‘If religion be the cause of disunity, then irreligion is surely to be preferred.’ ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
Paper Gangsta 6,693
I'm allowed to compare whatever I want And if you want to compare them lets: I don't care how long each had, in technical terms, Applause sold more in its first week than FourFive Seconds And Born This Way and FourFive Seconds' released are actually pretty comparable. Both released were HIGHLY anticipated for, by both fans and the GP. BTW came after one of the biggest era thare decade hype was huuge. Anything would smash if it was released instead btw. And Gaga is frontloaded artist anyway. This is caused by huge fanbase and small gp support. Rihanna never had frontloaded single, all of her singles peaked several weeks after release. Thats because she doesnt have such huge fanbase but a lot of support from gp.

Stay mad at her impact, star power, and amazing new song :legend:
