Cat digs out of Florida grave 5 days after 'dying'

I'm shocked by the circumstances but it seems like a passable mistake.

The cat could have just been unconscious. The owners just thought of burring it quickly as possible like every other animal owner would have done

I mean it's pretty difficult to look for a pulse on a cat, especially if it was all battered up like that.

You can look carefully for signs of breathing though  Plus, if a human was hit by a car you don't go and bury them straight away, you're supposed to have a full check of what's happened, even if they are dead

Maybe it's my inner feline-lover coming out, I don't know :rip:

Yes, it is :rip:

If you bring your dead animal to the vet they'll charge you for the appointment; some people want to avoid that.

I'd rather be charged to confirm that my animal is dead than bury them alive :emo:

Poor little kitty... :emo: I hope it makes a great recovery and lives a long happy life. And who doesn't take their pet to the vet after being hit by a car? :toofunny: Like it could be just knocked out or something.

All of this!

Sometimes even if you can't help them the vet have to put them down if they're still breathing in case there's no hope, cause if you just bury them it's like you're the one who's killing the animal. I'm not saying these people didn't care for their cat, they obviously made a mistake, but it's a really stupid one.
