It is, but let's be honest 90% of the people don't really care if their music sounds LQ, hence why streaming is so popular. I think Amazon has like a market share of at least 40% up to 70% in Germany since its positions on digital track charts are almost always accurate with the corresponding positions on the official charts. iTunes tends to be way more off. Like "The Hanging Tree" is the current #1, but it's at #11 there whereas on Amazon it's on #4 AND #7 respectively. But iTunes is a good way of predicting what will be popular over the next few months.
