SISTERV 3,887 Posted January 22, 2015 Author Share Posted January 22, 2015 Monster4Life sounds way to exclusive for the GP... yeah that was one of my big reasons, especially since she is working with RedOne now....no way she is going THAT niche I also think it would seem like she is backtracking.....she already has an album with the word Monster in it.....she is going to do something conceptually new. I mean....wasn't ARTPOP supposed to be her making experimental techno and electronic rage (art) with lyrics that are surface (pop)? It seems the next album is going to be like TFM again where she talks about dark and deeper subjects(the weird vampire/witch/cadaver talk) with classic catchy hooks and melodies (going back to RedOne and hooking up with Dianne Warren) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

It sounds like a "creative rebellion" thing She's hyping it in the same way she hyped the "Born This Way" and "ARTPOP" titles. For BTW, she's repeated the phrase in interviews and ceremonies before announcing it, she also got it tattooed actually BEFORE she announced it, and she hid the tattoo for a while with bandages. As for ARTPOP, the concept was floating around in summer 2012, with Gaga using hashtags, signing letters to fans with the word and explaining its meaning during BTWBall shows - I remember seeing Monsters who had got it and who showed up to the shows with ARTPOP written on banners and jackets before it was confirmed as the album title. I mean, you just have to watch the clues. Even though I'm not a big fan of it as a title, I'm persuaded Monster4Life is the new album title in the same way I was convinced ARTPOP was an album title as well. Hashtags, references during shows (especially the last artRAVE, where she wrote it on the mirror with her lipstick backstage), the song she sang at SXSW, the new tattoo of the Monster paw.... In my honest and modest opinion, I think everything points to it, and people know it because they're intelligent but they don't like it so they choose to look elsewhere. I'm not 100% convinced but I'll agree that you have actual good reasoning to believe it is Monster4Life. I just feel like at that time she sang Monster4Life it could very easily have been interpreted that the album was called Creative Rebellion....she tweeted that even more. I also feel like we could have guessed ARTPOP was called Princess Die in a way. Maybe Monster4Life is a track on the record, but not the actual title. But here is anotha question I have for you: do you think she is hiding stuff this era more because perhaps she wants that ability to change the album title at any point?? (its not like she got Monster4Life tattooed...she got a monster paw, she could change it) and question 2 for you: if the album is called Monster4Life what do you imagine an album called that would sound like? And if the album were to be called BarCode what do you imagine the album to sound like? Out of all the rumored titles, so far I like Surreality Television the best. I don't think she has the title picked out yet though. But that one had absolutely no ground. lol. at least BarCode came from such obscuree images from Intercope. I think SUR-TV came from a twitter thing.
