However i am not sure if I agree with the woman.  I don't like when someone says "People like you are giving reason to religious people to be homophobic and gay teens comit suicide because of that"  and stuff like that.  No.  He is not the reason.  If people were intelligent and objective enough, they won't be like "Ew Gays" they'd be like "Ew, Perez", you get what I mean ? 

But then again I totally understand this woman and I totally understand how many ignorant idiots there are out there that would be like "ew gays" because of Perez.  so yeah I am conflicted

Michelle is maybe overreacting a bit, but i get where she is coming from. She has been so long on our side, fighted with us for our rights, and then this disgusting human being presents him like this on TV. But this has nothing to do with being gay or straight, he is just utterly disgusting, i can throw up everytime i see his face, but sadly people are still paying him too much attention, so he continues with what ever he is doing.

I've been an avid Big Brother follower since 2006, and I've loved every season.

 

However, watching this season, I find myself annoyed 90% of the time. I absolutely CANNOT stand Perez. It really makes you think: how can someone that's, what? 30 years old? Have a kid, be popular, have as many followers yet remain so disturbed. He is a pathetic human being.

 

Most people think "No wonder Gaga stopped being his friend!" - while I think "How the hell did she ever befriend him?!"

 

If I were in the house, I'd call a meeting with all the other housemates, go into the bedroom, shove a big object in front of the door and make everyone sit on the floor and tell Big Brother that they will not move, speak, eat or do ANYTHING until he is out of the house. It is TOO much.

 

Me too. It makes me A) wonder how someone as intelligent as her could befriend someone as unintelligent as him, and B) whether they were actually as close as Perez led us to believe on his interview show.

Totally agree, I get this woman, she IS right, he has a disgusting behavious, BUT being afraid of Perez' actions is like Muslims being afraid of the results of the JeSuisCharlie happening ( like people are against all muslims) , cause it is so wrong to stereotype all people based on the actions of individuals.

 

The JeSuisCharlie happening, wasn't a religious attack, it was murder, done by crazy unhuman individuals and not a nation/religious group,

tbh, the actions of one doesn't represent the population. if you actually think one person represents an entire group, than you probably are dumb and aren't worth anything.

Tbh Michelle's right. When it comes to what the gp think of minority's they'll most likely base they're opinions on what they see in the media. The gay community doesn't have a lot of representation in the mainstream media so when the few people from the gay community that have mainstream visibility act as disgusting as Perez does the gp will generally base they're opinions on what they perceive gay people to be like based on his actions. He's unfortunately representing the gay community whether he, or us, like it or not and his actions do set us back.

 

Thank God that Michelle's there to actually give us a good representation
