This is the second confirmed case of ISIS executing gay men by throwing them off a tall building. I just really wish something would catalyst the process because it is a shame that such civil and human rights are barely, and I mean, barely beginning to surface up I think that IS could possibly have a positive effect on gay rights worldwide, because if you agree with something IS does, it means you sympathize, and nobody wants to feel like they sympathize with IS except for radical extremists. The same happened with anti-gay laws in Russia, which helped the Western world become more accepting towards gays, because gay rights were given more attention, were viewed as negative by the western media, and because people in the West generally have an anti-Russia mindset, especially now. I think the best way to solve it is economic growth, better integration, better ways to tackle bad influence of radical Islamic imams, and less interference in the Middle East from the US and Europe. I think the biggest reasons for radical islam are Israel, Joblessness, Discrimination and bad integration but meanwhile agression,the law against LGBT has strenghened,and living there if you're gay is a nightmare Living there is a nightmare for anybody besides brainwashed ones... Yeah. One person out of 10 million French muslims can kill 10 others, and the whole Muslim population will be blamed. We just need to remind ourselves that they're only an extremely small number when compared to the total muslim population, and thus we should not generalize them and think that all muslims or a high percentage can be blamed for the actions of <0.01%. The best way to fix it would be education, integration and fixing conflicts in the Middle East. The education should not be for muslims or radical(izing) muslims only, it should also be for far-right extremists, far-left extremists, radical Christians, etc. or anybody who is a potential threat to democracy and the people's safety.
