It was announced Friday that Idina Menzel will deliver the national anthem at the big game at Phoenix Stadium on Feb. 1. The Broadway star and voice of Frozen's Elsa, who will be finishing her Tony-nominated run in the musical If/Then in March, follows in the footsteps of such megastars as Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Mariah Carey, Beyonce and Garth Brooks in belting out The Star-Spangled Banner. In addition, it was revealed that recent Golden Globe winner and new Oscar nominee John Legend will perform America the Beautiful, rendered in past Super Bowls by the likes of Ray Charles, Jennifer Hudson and Alicia Keys.
