She was born in a secret Siberian mining town, a community so classified the Russian authorities apparently quite literally kept it off the map until recently because of plutonium or something. Her debut album is called Winter Road. She left Siberia to go to Moscow Arts University at the age of 16. They said she was too young but gave her a scholarship anyway. She was the lead performer in the Moscow State Theatre. She formed a girlband at school covering the likes of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. She went to America at some point where she met Jonas Quant and moved to Sweden to work on the album. The album features percussionists who play the frozen waters of Lake Baikal. She lives in east London now Her first debut single is called Angel. There are two versions of the song and videos below.
