I wouldn't say tacky, most of the music released in today's age is what's tacky. Beautiful in particular has a timeless sound. I feel like it's hard to sound dated using real instruments recorded properly. Most (but not all) songs I hear that sound dated either use a particular type of synth extensively or were just recorded in a poorer environment (stuff from the 60s and back).
