Don't worry, GGD does not represent the whole fandom. When I went to see the ArtRave I was amazed with the sheer diversity of people that were there, from teens dressed in sea shell costumes (ofc) to elderly dressed up like they were going out to a night at the opera. I myself are also not really the "core"  as a female with her own family mid 30s but so what. I think it's lovely to see that she is admired by a lot of layers of society so don't feel bad :)

true! I'm also a straight girl and I love her. And even my boyfriend likes her (he's not a fan but he likes her music and went with me at  the ArtRave).

It's weird that so many people are being rude to the fans in the video. I actually thought Gaga was the one who made it a little bit awkward. The fans acted fine to me. More calm and collected than I would be.

because most of her guys fans ARE gay. so when they have these types of contest that fans can enter, of course it's most likely that the gay fans will win, because there are so little straight fans.

This is the last time I'm gonna comment on this subject. None of us are fake. Yes in the video we may look stiff but they also were pointing several cameras at us and only showed 2 minutes of our meeting. We all got to talk to her and take pictures afterwards. I told her about how my grandparents are super Italian and cook huge amounts of food which is why I was obese but thanks to her I was inspired to lose 90 pounds and she told me "Well, you look great now." Why can't you guys just be happy that people got this opportunity? I genuinely don't understand why it matters how we reacted to that moment. Everyone is different.

Don't pay attention to those jealous bitter b---hes. You all look and did AMAZING. I loved every single part of it! And I feel happy that you got to live that amazing experience, congrats!!

The fans were so lucky they were probably really nervous, so would I. It must be amazing having the opportunity to present an award to Gaga.

You did a good jobs guys. We are proud of you. The blond girl was really pretty too ! :)

I really understand what you mean. It cringes me as well.

They ALWAYS choose the "i'm such a fairy oeh I fly around screaming i'm born this gaaayyy" male fans.

I don't actually tell people i'm a gaga fan right away. I reinforce with live performances and having seen her live.

Hell to the no to being written away as "oh one of those gay gaga fans". (even though the latter three is definitely true, just not the "one of those")

Maybe she asked for it...

Ikr,they act like they're superior than other people, not everyone but I've seen such people.

Its sad to know that whenever u tell someone that u're a fan of gaga ,they immediately take u as Gay.

Call me by your name and I'll call you by mine

Not sure if I agree with that though. They don't act superior, just feminine.

And I don't really care about people thinking i'm gay when I tell them i'm a Gaga fan, I mean, let's not fool anyone, she's known for gay fans. I just don't like being refered to as "that kind of" gay guy.

Sigh

It's too bad people think like this. There is absolutely nothing wrong with overtly flamboyant people, and to feel shame or embarrassment that a flamboyant person gets to be called a Lady Gaga fan because it somehow takes something away from you says a lot more about you than it does about that person. It just comes off as really insecure.

Furthermore, to have to defend a flamboyant gay boy on a LADY GAGA FORUM of all places speaks volumes. Appreciate each other, kids.

Mte, would it have killed them to pick a str8 guy too? I feel like they tend to look for gays. Not trying to be homophobic or anything tho. I just feel a bit left out. Kind of like when poo stars act like only girls look up to them, it's like "b---h, I'm here too"
