It only takes one person to inflict terror (see the recent Australia incident, but my memory may fail me and it may have been a duo?), and in this scenario you'll have a pissed-off sect of excommunicated Muslims who would have no issue inflicting violence on Muslims and others (as they do already). A It will imo, at least I hope. It will become much less popular. Their famalies will stop them from doing so. Also, some religious Muslim people must end gloryfication of death. It's time that People need to know that these terrorists make up a tiny minority of all Muslims and that Most Muslims would never even think about causing harm on other people and would never condone terrorism.
