The only muslims that are fvcking it up are the radical muslims who seem to take passages/sentences out of the Quran and take them out of context. The Koran is in no way meant to justify this. And for your information the Quran is basically the Bible with added stories about the prophet Mohammed, about bringing tribes together and unify humanity. It's just that a lot of people are stupid/dumb and take spiritual/esoteric books and texts literal, or the ones that take religious books to justify their struggles and act their struggles (with whatever they struggle with) with violence. It's the extremists who twist and alter the teachings of Islam to suit their own agenda.
