Geological surveys and studies of some areas in the North West Territories suggests there may be Billions of barrels of recoverable oil reserves in the form of shale oil

At this time it is difficult to say exactly how much oil may be there, more geological surveys will have to be done but ti looks very promising . 1 company alone (MGM) which owns some land there may be on top of over 10 billion barrels of oil and thats just a portion of the land.

Canada already has the worlds 3rd largest oil reserves after Saudi Arabia and Venezuela at 170 billion barrels

Good. Muslim-Oil era is over now tbh. No more funding for those evil states

The Middle East has much cheaper to produce oil than North America. They will never die :rip:

yep I'm definitely moving there

the population there in that massive territory is like 30,000. Nobody lives there. Its an empty desert lmao

ah ok.

Toronto is in Ontario. Our Province is currently below the National average economically. Alberta is our richest PRovince

But because of the oil drop and currency drop, this is bad for energy producing PRovinces and good for manufacturing based PRovinces

So Ontario (where Toronto is in) might improve over the next 2 years especially with an improving USA

Vancouver (In British Columbia) is an area of Canada that is within National average economically... But real estate in Vancouver is mroe expensive than anywhere else in the country :rip:

still crazy expensive real estate. like $500,000 to $900,000 (depending on what part of the city) to buy a piece of garbage home. my grandparents home is worth $900,000 but its small, crusty and over 100 years old :rip:

We kind of have an over-heated housing market that could crash at anytime... our Central bank is keeping an eye on it :flop:

I live in the suburbs of Toronto in smaller cities around it. Homes and rents are a little cheaper. My house in the suburbs is worth about $300,000 which in most parts of Toronto would get u a very small condo

Better use that than Saudian oil that helps funding the Islamic State tbh.

unless our housing bubble bursts and housing becomes extremely affordable :)

im waiting for a housing correction so i can buy a house. no point on buying it now

my parents house is worth $300,000 to $350,000 in the suburbs, i wonder what it will be worth if we have a downturn

either i wanna own real-estate but its too expensive now. oonce interest rates start going up, prices will have to come down, even if other sectors of the economy improve. cant wait to see what happens

PS: in terms of wages in relation to cost of living Saskatchewan might be Canadas best Province. Its the second richest Province after Alberta but real-estate is much cheaper there. And unemployment is really low

But the population is low there, the biggest city has like 400,000 or 500,000 people tops so it might be boring there :rip:
